SIBiol News : Biotechnology Forum and "BIORUNWAY"

The International Service for Acquisition of AgriBiotech Applications (www.isaaa.org) is holding the annual meeting of the Global Knowledge Center and Biotechnology Information Centers here in the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore on 4-5 April. This will be followed by a Public Forum at the Biopolis on 6 April 2011, co-hosted by GMAC, during which experiences in communicating and commercializing crop biotechology will be shared from different geographical regions.

At the Public Forum will also be a “Biotech Fashion Show” by students from Malaysian design colleges, in which all the designs use an imaginative theme from molecular biology. The Malaysians have found this to be an innovative way of attracting public attention to biotechnology.

A networking lunch will be available after the Public forum. Details of the Public Forum are in the attachments:
